My artistic journey began in childhood, thanks to my mom, who guided me by enrolling me in art school at age 10. Over 13 years of exploring different mediums and techniques, I discovered my deep love for watercolor. Its unique ability to create unpredictable, magical blends and textures captivated me, and it remains my medium of choice.
When I moved to Canada in 2012, I was immediately struck by the beauty of its nature and wildlife. The crisp autumn air carried scents of grass, leaves, and rain-soaked rocks—so different from the industrial landscape of my Siberian hometown. Growing up, I explored forests and mountains but rarely saw wildlife, as animals stayed hidden. That changed during my first trip to BC’s mountains, where I had the unforgettable experience of seeing a black bear cub. The wonder I felt at that moment cemented my love for the wild and its inhabitants. Nature became my greatest source of inspiration, offering unmatched beauty, peace, and truth.
My collection combines landscapes and wildlife in a unique way, aiming to evoke feelings of connection and responsibility. I believe nature paintings can bring joy and solace, while wildlife art serves as a reminder of the importance of conservation. Though small, my contributions to preserving the natural world—such as donating to local and global wildlife organizations—are a source of fulfillment, allowing me to take meaningful steps toward a better future.
Through my art, I aim to share not just what I see but what I feel. My mom always said that to create something meaningful, you must do it with love, and I carry that sentiment into every piece I paint. It’s my hope that my art resonates with you, offering not only visual beauty but also a glimpse of the soul and passion behind it.
