About me

I am an architect by profession and passionate about watercolor. My formal watercolor training began in 2015, but I started painting at age nine in a Waldorf school, where I learned about watercolor in its most liquid state and the techniques of layering, glazing, and wet-on-wet. Then, in 2015, I rediscovered this beautiful technique, which I practiced for two years with Professor Jaime Fuentes. Afterward, I took various courses with different instructors. Today, I have been exploring this technique for ten years. I am currently taking courses at Capa Academia with Paulina Bunster and Eugenia Terrazas. I was recently selected for the prestigious national Hardy Wistuba competition and the Nuestros Artistas Community competition at the Las Condes Cultural Center, in addition to having my watercolor painting featured on a magazine cover and receiving several awards from the SNBA (National Society of Fine Arts).
