I am passionate about nature, horses and everything that nature offers us; mountains, lakes, skies, the sea and so much more. Being a biologist by profession has allowed me to experience even more intensely what is offered to us every day. In 1998 I decided to venture into the art world through a diploma program at the Catholic University of Chie. It was 2 years of intense exploration, which continued with the learning from great masters in painting, sculpture and watercolor. In 2021, my discovery of the watercolor technique completely captivated me. Since then I have been continually amazed by how my hand is merely an instrument of the powerful dance between water and pigment. Great masters have once again guided my path, like Luis camara, Francisco Castro, Cesc Farre (from Spain), Paulina Werth, workshops with Cesc Farre in Chile etc
I have participated in both solo exhibitions, showcasing my large-format mixed media horses, and group exhibitions displaying my sculptures and paintings. However, the watercolor technique captivated me with its versatility, with the magic it unfolds by creating color blends that amaze.
I firmly believe that my country, Chile, has enormous potential to attract watercolor enthusiasts from all over the word due to its magnificent geography, its lakes, the Cordillera de los Andes, the vast Pacific sea, the glaciers and so much more. And we chileans, will be honored to welcome them.
