My name is Karolina Bundash, and I am a Ukrainian contemporary artist and art teacher.
I began my artistic journey in 2015, while studying at medical university. But my life took a remarkable turn, and I dedicated myself to the art I had always dreamed of.
Since 2019 I have been working professionally as a full-time artist.
The language of my paintings is self-reflection and the revelation of the multilayered nature of emotions. After the full-scale invasion, I have experienced a creative crisis and am exploring myself through new subjects. I work with watercolor, oil, and acrylic to achieve different levels of expressiveness. These techniques allow me to balance between realism and abstraction, emphasizing the moment of transformation — when the external becomes internal, and feelings extend beyond the conscious.
I love combining precision and meticulousness, which are hallmarks of my original profession, with a passion for color and the desire to bring my paintings to life with multifaceted shades.
