About me
My name is Marta Elena Taborda, and I live in Rosario, Argentina.
I am a self-taught artist, shaped through workshops, courses, and personal experience.
In watercolour, I find a way to explore the natural beauty of the world around us.
Painting nature, especially animals, particularly motivates me. My goal is to highlight their uniqueness in order to encourage empathy and respect for all forms of life. Through my work, I hope to give them more visibility in both the art world and everyday life.
I'm especially drawn to painting birds because watercolour's fluid nature, transparency, and ability to suggest movement all allow me to convey the lightness and freedom that define these creatures.
