About me
Belgian, born in september 1960. Aged of 18 years old, I had the opportunity to visit the Uffizi Galleries in Florence. I was very impressed by the beauty of so many works. Then the years have passed, but I remained still emotional when hearing music or observing picture who touches me. 10 years ago, looking to the web site of Thierry de Marichalar, a French artist, I discoverd watercolor. The immediate rendering and freshness of this medium captivated me. So I started, taking each opportunity for sketching and, when the subject touch me, translate it in a work. I like even outdoor painting as subject from a picture. Life model drawing is also a stimulating exercise, offering another approach of this medium. Since 2 years, I’m member of a Belgian watercolorist association, allowing me to meet and exchange with watercolor lovers.
